Extension activities - RRC
Red ribbon club is functioning as a part of NSS Unit No.40. Skill and personality of students are enhanced through HIV – AIDS awareness programmes celebrating life programmes, interaction sessions, Peer educator Training, Competitions, Exposure Visits and blood donation camps.
Activities : 2022 - 2023
The Red Ribbon Club conducted AIDS awareness programme held on 25.04.2023, 2.00 PM, at college Library upstairs. Dr. C. Esakkiappan , Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education cum Co-ordinator RRC, welcomed the gathering.
Dr. A. Subramanian, Principal of The M.D.T. Hindu college, derived the Presidential Address. Mrs. N. Mariammal, ICTC-Councellor, Government Primary Health Centre, Kallur, the Explainined and detailing about the harmful effects and prevention method of HIV.
Mrs. V. Maheswari, , ICTC-Councellor Urban Primary Health Center, Pettai, offered a special address on ‘Celebrating Life’ Explaining Life Style, Disease, Food habits and how to overcome disease.
RRC volunteers were participated the programme . Dr. R. Ilakkuvan, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil, 38 unit NSS Co-ordinator, Proposed Vote of Thanks.
